AUSANGATE - CUSCO

Among the Apus or Andean mountains, the imposing snowcapped Ausangate is the fifth highest mountain in Peru and the most significant sacred mountain in Cusco. The Ausangate, with its enormous size and a height of 6384 meters above sea level, is part of the Cordillera de Vilcanota. It is surrounded by beautiful lagoons with intense colors reflecting the sky, as well as glaciers, stone forests and spectacular natural formations. It is an ideal place for trekking´lovers and to practice adventure sports.
