Sacsayhuaman Fortress
Above the magical and emblematic city of Cusco is the Sacsayhuaman fortress, a mysterious place built during the heyday of the Inca culture. It is said that the construction of this wonderful and enigmatic place was from the 15th century to the 16th century, where they used it to perform religious ceremonies for the worship of the sun god.
It is an unmissable destination that offers visitors an incredible panoramic view, where fantastic architectural and natural attractions can be appreciated. The measurements of the stones are approximately 5 meters high, in addition to a weight of up to 125 tons. This great place allows visitors to have a pleasant walk, and also share with the llamas. As well as visualizing the internal construction of the fortress, such as the doors, the tunnels, the throne where the emperors sat, and the rollers.
