 Lagunillas Lagoon

Set of high Andean lagoons, fed by mountain rivers and surrounded by wetlands and puna grasslands. It is a paradise for flamingos and more than 25 species of birds have been recorded there.

Lagunillas is a lake located in the Peruvian department of Puno, at an altitude of 4,174 meters above sea level. Its dimensions are 18.6 kilometers long by 5.8 kilometers wide and a surface area of ​​66 square kilometers with a maximum depth of 47.6 meters.
