STONE FOREST CHOQOLAQA

Choqolaqa offers fantastic and little explored landscapes that seem from another planet. The beauty of this unique landscape stimulates the imagination because of its unique charm.

Choqolaqa is located in the town of Cota Cota, Caylloma province, in Arequipa. Located at 4800 above sea level it is a set of gigantic ashlar rock formations, which were carved by the erosion of the winds and the rains, achieving capricious figures and sculptures called Choqola.

From Arequipa to Choqolaqa it is approximately five hours of travel.
