Cerro Blanco is an enigmatic and extreme dune that is located in the Ica region, 20 km from the department of Nazca. It is considered the highest dune in the world, since it reaches 2,078 m in height, making it the ideal place for lovers of sandboarding and extreme sport practiced in desert areas.

This attraction was considered by the Nazcas as a sacred place in which the gods descended, and they gave them offerings as well as making requests. Today it is a fascinating place which awakens the adventurous spirit of tourists, who decide to go uphill.

The greatest attraction that the place has is the wonderful view that can be appreciated from the top, since the entire valley is bare before the dreamy gaze of the visitors.
However, the ascent crossing is carried out under a lot of physical effort, making it an ideal adventure for people in good physical condition. The foot of the mountain is lined with stones and little vegetation, except for some cactus plants, however, the top offers an unforgettable panorama.
